We are 2 females who have overcame addiction, along with other trials and tribulations. I began life with my goal being to start a safe house for women. I have been on that side of the fence and not had anyone to turn to when things got hard, so what did I do ? Turnt to the wrong people and places and ended up in a mess I never thought I would get out of! That’s the main reason I want this women’s home! Women are the carriers of the next generation so without them the future wouldn’t be the brightest. A lot of women don’t have any positive support in there life, I feel that support is atleast 85% of the reason most people fail, I feel that if women had somewhere they could just go and not be judged or stereo typed, and could feel comfortable and confident in there recovery a lot more would succeed! I know from experience that when someone starts a nonprofit home after so long it of course grows so they have to expand which consist of new management. A lot of times when that happens the main fundementals get lost when the program is handed over or transferred!
